Why Support the Cheaha Trail Riders, Inc.?

1. Our website has over 1.3 million hits per year

2. We are closely associated with many nationally known organizations such as MIC/SVIA, ATVA, AMA, Blue Ribbon Coalition, Tread Lightly, the majority of the OHV OEMs, US Forest Service, Alabama 4-H Clubs; Make-A-Wish Foundation; the SAE University Baja Competition where over 100 universities throughout the USA compete and CTR volunteers are the recovery teams; American Trails Association; National Parks Service; Cities of Lincoln and Talladega, Alabama; and many others.

3. The two Alabama State Representatives to NOHVCC are CTR officers

4. CTR won two national awards in 2011: AMA/ATVA National Club of the year Award and National Off Highway Vehicle Conservation Council's Club of the Year Award

9. We have been contacted by Alabama State Forestry requesting us to design OHV trails in Geneva State Forest in Geneva, AL. Trails have been designed on paper and awaiting approval

10. We have many of your logos on our 30-foot OHV Safety and Educational trailer along with our 20-foot Box trailer which travels all over the South; we attend many trade shows throughout the South promoting OHV with our OHV Safety and Ed. Trailer

11. We are one of the primary resource in developing a National OHV online training presentation to teach parks and clubs on how to develop and maintain a volunteer program. This was requested by the US Forest Service.

12. We were the Co-Host of the first, second and third Alabama Trails Conference held in March, 2011, April, 2012 and April 2014

13. We have acquired or helped to acquire, so far, over $1.7 Million in grants for the Public Park Authority of Lincoln and Talladega, Alabama for the construction of the OHV trail system.

14. We have a master trail designer as a member of CTR

15. We are asked to consult with OHV trail systems in critiquing their trail systems and ways to improve their revenue stream

16. We try to sponsor CTR Organizational trail rides every other month where possible.
