Doc Hilt Trails was created as a result of Cheaha Trail Riders, Inc.
presentation to the Alabama Forest Owners Assoc. at their April 2009 Conference.
Mr. Gannon Murphy saw the potential, the need and the opportunity to develop
an Off Highway Vehicle (OHV) trail system on about 500 acres of forestland
located just north of Lineville, Alabama. Doc Hilt Trails opened the Summer of 2009
and has gotten off to a great start. Everyone should visit this trail system for
loads of fun in riding and enjoying the beautiful scenic overlooks of the
Talladega National Forest.

Cheaha Trail Riders, Inc. was proud to hold our annual Make-A-Wish Foundation Ride
and Moonshine Ride at Doc Hilt Trials in November 2009. We had a great group of
riders and visitors and gave away thousands of dollars in prizes to all who donated to
the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Thanks to Gannon Murphy and Doc Hilt Trails for
hosting our event for 2009, where we raised over $1430 for Make-A-Wish.
