Girls Riding In The South
The FALL is Finally Here.
With all the dry and hot weather this summer I was actually ready for some
cooler weather and hopefully a rainy fall season. At this time, in Alabama, most
of us are in very dry conditions (Drought 3 ratings). This makes it very
difficult to ride in any size group without spreading way-out on the trails to
allow the dust to clear up enough to see the trail. It's just to darn dry and
dusty. We Need Rain!!!!!
My husband and I have actually been doing more dual-sport riding
due to the dry conditions and exploring areas not legal for non-licensed dirt
bikes. We have enjoyed some of the "back roads" that are very seldom explored by
city folk. Dual sporting has opened-up a whole new riding adventure for us since
we purchased the bike from Talladega Cycle back in June. We will still enjoy are
dirt bikes when the weather "get's right" but as an alternative dual sport
riding is another great way forus to enjoy the outdoors.
The Make-A-Wish Charity Event will be the 1st weekend in November so please
attendand show your support. This is such a worthy benefit and great cause for
deserving children that are not as fortunate as us. So open up your heart and
donate generously.
Hope to see all of you there.
Come by the Cheaha Trail Riders Tent and sign-up. Free hotdogs for everyone who
donates.
As always
See You on the Trails
